Robert Gresl, 86, of Wilton, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, at home. He was the husband of Rita Heluk Gresl.
Born in Queens, N.Y., Aug. 10, 1928, son of the late Charles and Madeline Yusna Gresl, he was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Gresl was a mechanical engineer and a Wilton resident since 1979. He was a member of the Lifetime Learners Institute and National Society of Professional Engineers.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Joyce Dolan, of Kennett Square, Pa., and a son, Robert Randall Gresl, of Park Slope, Brooklyn, a brother, Charles Gresl, of San Francisco, Calif., and three grandchildren.
A wake was held Sunday, Feb. 1, at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk.
Graveside services with full military honors took place Monday, Feb. 2, in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
