David Thomas Le Page, 58

David Thomas Le Page (“Dave”) of Harwinton, CT passed away on December 29 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on May 21, 1955 and raised in Wilton, CT.

Dave is survived by his wife and longtime companion, Shannon Wolfe Le Page; his son David Stuart Le Page of New Britain, CT; his mother, Dorothy Le Page of Wilton, CT; five brothers and sisters: John, Patricia Peterson, Charles, Maggie Haskell, Dorothy Fitton, fifteen nieces and nephews and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.

Dave worked as an electrician for Kimberly-Clark in New Milford, CT for 38 years. He and Shannon lived in New Milford until moving to Harwinton in 2009.

Dave enjoyed music, backgammon, gardening and was an accomplished cook. He had an impressive garden and particularly liked cooking the vegetables he grew. He was known for his chili and lasagna and barbecue among other things. He loved golf and was an avid fan of both the Giants and Mets. Dave loved vacationing with his family at Long Beach Island, NJ.

Calling hours: Monday, January 6 from 9:30 to 10:00 AM at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church St., Georgetown, CT, with a service at 10 AM. Burial will be immediately following at the Bald Hill Cemetery in Wilton, CT, weather permitting.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
