Thomas Lloyd Thompson, age 87, of Trumbull, previously of Wilton, passed away on June 22, 2017, in St. Vincent’s Medical Center Bridgeport.
Mr. Thompson was born in Chicago, Ill., on June 11, 1930, to the late Jewel and Tresia Thompson. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1958.
He was VP of Government and Industry Relations for General DataComm Industries where he was employed for over 30 years. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed being outdoors, especially playing tennis and golf.
Mr. Thompson’s survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bonnie Lou Thompson; three children, Steven Lloyd Thompson of Trumbull, David Scott Thompson, his wife Bonnie Ann and their daughter Olivia Rose Thompson of Massachusetts, and Kristen Leigh Thompson of New Jersey; his sister Janice Kay Bullington of Chicago, and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jack Thompson of Chicago.
Calling hours are Sunday, June 25, between 4 and 7:30 p.m., with the service at 7:30 p.m. at Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private.
