Betty A. Youngquist
Betty Ann Youngquist of Calabash, N.C., formerly of Wilton, died from acute pulmonary failure at her home on Feb. 4, 2016. She had lived in Wilton for more than 40 years before moving to Calabash.
She was a registered nurse who served as head of the maternity ward in Norwalk Hospital and also worked with numerous private-practice physicians. After she retired, she was a hospice volunteer.
“Betty was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends,” her family said.
