Charles Albert Brunell, a managing director for North America for Novo Nordisk Bioindustrial when the company was based in Wilton and then Ridgefield from 1983 to 1994, died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, following a yearlong struggle with esophageal cancer. He was 82.
He is survived by his life partner, Nina Tasi, of New London, N.H.; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Maureen Brunell of Newbury Park, Calif., and Scott and Connie Brunell of Spangle, Wash.; his daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Mark Eisenberg of Bridgeport and Paula and Sam Elias of Simsbury, and their children, Charles Benjamin Elias and Emily Marie Elias.
