Frances S. FitzGerald
Frances S. FitzGerald, a long-time resident of Wilton, died Aug. 2, 2015.
She was born Dec. 2, 1937, in Boston. She graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York City in 1955, and Manhattanville College in 1959.
After moving to Wilton in 1975 she became immersed in the community as a devoted parent and volunteer, most notably at the Wilton Interfaith Food Pantry.
She is survived by her husband Kenyon; daughters Irene FitzGerald, Louise North, and Lydia B. FitzGerald; and four grandchildren, Hunter Geraghty, Ryan Geraghty, Nelson North III, and Kenyon North.
“She was the light of all our lives,” her family said.
A memorial service will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Memorial Church of All Angels, Twilight Park, Haines Falls, N.Y. 12436.
